From source to screen, one controlled flow
Choose the input, shape the story, set the length, and render. Every paid step stays visible and bounded.
Source
What should the reel be based on?
Your input
Each mode explains exactly what RJStory reads.
Your pasted text is the only factual source for the reel; RJStory shapes it into scenes.
RJStory tries to ground your topic with up to three public sources. If no usable sources are found, it uses your topic brief and says so. Be specific, and verify important facts.
RJStory reads that public page only; it does not crawl its links or the rest of the site. Choose a page containing the facts you want covered. Optional context may supplement it, and very long pages are bounded.
For a post link, RJStory uses that post and the author's connected thread; replies from other accounts are ignored. If you paste text, the pasted text becomes the source.
Ad brief - product, audience, offer, tone, proof.
Your brief supplies the facts and claims. RJStory shapes it into an ad; review the finished reel before publishing.
- Text PDF excerpt or chapter only - no scanned or image-only PDFs (no OCR yet).
- Max 10 MB, max 25 pages, 500 to 60,000 characters of extracted text.
- Encrypted / password-protected PDFs are not supported.
The text extracted from this PDF is the only factual source for the reel. The file is read by the server, not in your browser. Scene-plan previews stay in memory; rendered-video jobs keep bounded job artifacts while producing the MP4.
RJStory combines the sources you provide: a whitepaper PDF, one website page, and one X post with its author thread. The whitepaper has priority. Your expectation guides tone and pacing; it is not a factual source. Give at least one source. The $0 scene-plan preview is not available for combined mode - render directly.
Length
One choice drives both the $0 preview and the paid render.
Your selection sets the maximum length and reserve. A successful reel costs a 4 / 5 / 5-credit base for the 1 / 3 / 5-minute options, plus 0.5 credit per started 5-second block delivered. It is never padded just to reach the limit. 1 min renders fastest.
Shown as a short opening card. If blank, we'll create one from your source.
The narrator is chosen to fit the story's tone; pick a voice gender if you prefer one.
PNG or JPEG, up to 8 MB - your product, mascot, animal, object, vehicle or location. The reference affects the final render only.
That file can't be used: pick a still PNG or JPEG up to 8 MB.
Render
Story direction, keyframes, image-to-video, narration, subtitles.
You reserve the maximum for the length you pick. A successful reel costs a base of 4 / 5 / 5 credits for the 1 / 3 / 5-minute options, plus 0.5 credit per started 5-second block delivered, capped at the reserved maximum. Retries and fallback do not change your price. If no video is delivered, the full reserve is returned.
Up to 7 / 15 / 26 credits for up to 1 / 3 / 5 minutes. Unused reserved credits are returned. Failed renders are automatically refunded.
Rendering is invite/credit gated during launch. Enter your access code.
A render typically takes 10-40 minutes; progress, cost, and the finished reel appear in the phone preview. The $0 preview is a deterministic scene plan. You can close this tab after it starts - the render keeps going. Reopen this page in the same browser, or log in and open "My renders", to pick it back up.
Scene-plan preview (deterministic, $0) - not the final render.
